Microsoft’s Copilot ‘notes’ and the enterprise

Microsoft has been very slow to gain enterprise adoption of Copilot.
Several factors have combined to land Copilot in the 'too hard' basket for most enterprises, including:

  • Organisational unfamiliarity with AI; 

  • An absence of policies concerning appropriate usage of AI; 

  • Few use cases justifying a hefty $50 per user per month subscription; 

  • Concerns about enterprise data privacy when using Copilot.
